Why is it worth buying at PiroHIT?
So from the beginning... How Tomek became Mahoney.
24.09.2015 so 9 years ago Tomek started the YouTube channel "Machony" and that same day the first video was uploaded entitled "Test petard Mega Jumbo vs FP3 test Fireworks firecrackers, petardos de prueba Test petards". The nickname "Machony" itself had its origins in a previous job and referred to the police academy, specifically cadet "Mahoney".
As you remember or can see in the video below, Machony was different then, after all, he was nine years younger, the quality of the videos was different, that period was a long time in technological progress, different pyrotechnics, whether it was better or worse, is a discussion for a separate blog. In a word, nine years is a very long time. Fortunately, not everything has changed, the passion has remained, as well as the will to continue, as well as independence and very reliable opinions on products that not everyone liked and that often meant that you had to swim "against the current". This is all for the viewers - you trusted him and he did not let you down. It should also be remembered that from the very beginning there was also Grzesiu, the well-known Kaczorek.
Returning to the first film, it lasted only 3:49 minutes and presented a duel of FP3 firecrackers from the importer Tropic, although FP3 is mainly associated with Jorge vs Mega Jumbo from the Kometa company.
Who remembers which one turned out to be stronger? The next films started to be added regularly to this day, but not all of them were related to explosions.

During the channel's existence, product reviews were shown, i.e. ratings of individual products where you could get an idea of what was worth buying and what to avoid, casual shooting, i.e. fooling around and having fun with fireworks, experiments of the "what happens when" type, pyrotechnic education, i.e. good practices in handling firecrackers, launchers, rockets, smoke candles and other pyrotechnic products, and much, much more.
The sayings "light up, don't bob", "Machony tam som ryby" - words spoken emotionally by Tomek during recordings - also went down in history. They were added to orders from the PiroHIT store on stickers and are used to this day. Fireworks during lighting and recordings evoke huge emotions, so there is one rule - the louder Machony raves, the better the product ... this cannot be cheated or faked.
Today, the number of subscribers is 417,000 and this is the most of all channels on this platform dealing with topics related to pyrotechnics in general, i.e. firecrackers, sound emitters, launchers, rockets, Roman candles, compouds, smoke candles, cold sparklers, tests, reviews of cardboard tubes containing gunpowder.
To this day, the number of films posted on this channel is 1688 ... in short, it is several dozen thousand minutes of films, thousands of hours of editing, a huge amount of fired pyrotechnics (by the way, it would make a good wholesaler), various people taking part in the recordings ... and all this for you, to provide you with the latest information from the world of pyrotechnics, present new products, present reviews, warn against improper use and, most importantly, show how much fun these products provide.

After three years, it was time for a store …
On 29.09.2018, a joint project by Tomek "Machony" with the then mysterious brothers Sebastian "Piekarnik" and Bogdan "Boguś" saw the light, namely the creation of an online store www.pirohit.pl, on which work had been secretly ongoing for at least half a year earlier. Of course, no one in this project came about by accident. The brothers had previously been involved in the sale of fireworks in a stationary form under other companies much earlier, starting with seasonal trade (Sebastian since 2002, Bogdan since 2004), eventually moving to stationary stores, and Tomek, as mentioned above, tested fireworks on YouTube. All three of them did not know each other before (apart from the brothers, of course), but they were united by a common passion and the desire to do something more.
Initially, the assumption was that the store's offer would consist of only HITs, i.e. products that received a 10/10 or 9/10 rating from Machony, hence the name of the store "Piro" from the words "pyrotechnics" and "hit" from products rated as hits.
There were supposed to be 100 of these products, but as time has shown, the demand for a wide range was so great that new products were slowly added, and at the moment it is one of the widest offers on the Internet and amounts to about 2000 items. The date of opening the store was also not accidental and it was exactly 100 days to New Year's Eve 2018!
The first online store was located in Piła at ul. Motylewska 10, from where the first packages were sent, the store was serviced, the first live shows were recorded and the first mystery boxes were created. Pirohit still operates there, but it's a stationary store. One of three year-round stores, the other two are in Police and Radom. In addition, there are a few seasonal stores operating only during the Christmas and New Year's Eve period.
Preparations for the opening were very hard-working ... selected top offer, stocking, store engine, adding the entire offer, descriptions, photos, setting prices, domain, packaging materials, promotion on YouTube and Machony's announcements. The duties were divided more or less like this: the brothers took care of technical matters and Machony took care of marketing.
When the day came when the project saw the light, it was completely unknown what to expect. The creators speculated among themselves how many orders there might be on the first day ... the numbers varied from a few to several dozen. However, as it turned out, the store was very well received and enjoyed a very good reception from customers (and not very favorable from the competition, thanks to which we also had some unpleasantness or false orders) and on the first day the number of orders exceeded our boldest assumptions and amounted to ... 152 real and a dozen or so false.
After the successful premiere of the store and working through the full season, getting the wind in their sails, they did not stop there.. Looking for products for the store, they noticed the Slovak-Czech importer SRPyro. The products were liked in terms of quality, Machony rated them very highly and so from 2019 they became the official distributor of products on the Polish market, to make it funnier it was also September ... a coincidence? Probably not anymore. All three elements such as the YouTube channel, online store, distribution of the new importer had their premieres in September.
Noticing a niche in the market for lighters and gas burners, they also introduced dedicated products for the pyrotechnics industry, mainly based on flame jet technology for launching fireworks under the "Atomic fireworks" brand.
Let's stay with SrPyro for a moment
Introducing SrPyro products to the Polish market, they encountered a number of problems along the way, but having learned to "swim against the current", they did not give up and persevered. It was not an easy matter to promote completely new products, find wholesale and retail customers for them. It was necessary to adapt the fireworks visually to the needs of Polish customers, which involved graphic designs and instructions in our language. Today, the importer SpPyro does not need to be introduced to anyone, and the products are known for their quality and are eagerly purchased by customers, and hit items disappear from the store at lightning speed.
Returning to the pirohit online store, during these six years the company's headquarters changed three more times. After Motylewska, due to the great interest in the store and the limited space available at that location, it was necessary to change the location. The move was not far away, also in Piła, but to Wybickiego Street, where once in 2019 customers were already waiting for the opening from 6:00 in the morning (greetings to those in the know). Then the move in 2020 was to Kaczor, not far from Piła, and ultimately to Police, where there is also a stationary store at ul. Spółdzielcza 25. The last change of location in 2023 was dictated by the decision to share responsibilities. Machony with the oven continues to deal with the online store, Boguś is developing SRPyro.
